With the new design capabilities, there should be lots of custom content to share. Everything can be customized including neighborhoods. There are “infinite possibilities to design the interior furnishings of your Sims.” “The possibilities are endless for creating your Sims home of their dreams.”

OMG I can’t wait for the Sims 3 to come out!!!
One question —
can you create your own custom neighborhood, like in Sims 2, or do you have to work with the one they made???

are you sure you can customize height? cuz ive been waiting for that forever!

Meagan, i totally agree about the height! that would be amazing! u should write EA about that and maybe they would concider adding that before the game comes out since the did delay the game until june! i know alot of people would be in love with the height feature if they decided to add that!:)

I highly doubt that EA will code in a height customization slider at the last moment, but it would be a nice feature to have I will admit.
What I hope to see is some developer tools released as the same time the game is so we can have instant access to the way these skins are laid out and to the models themselves so we can begin (again) the construction of other items like wings and tables and such.

Height isn’t but weight and fitness each have their own sliders and are altered by choices made in game.
Clothes follow the normal sims route. Except you can color them
There is no more zodiac/trait bar. it’s done by traits now.
You use their neighborhood.
One will ship with the game, after registering your serial code you can download the second city.
Nieghborhoods are semi customizable.
